2024 REC SEASON IMPORTANT DATES

 

Saturday April 20th: Softball Parade

8:45am to 10:30am in South Orange

Please join MSO to celebrate the start of our 2024 season!

Thursday April 25th: Softball Day with Columbia Softball

Join us at 4pm on Meadowlands 3 in South Orange to cheer on Columbia High School softball in their game against

Nutley.

Wear your softball jersey to show our softball spirit!

 

Friday May 3rd and Saturday May 4th : Picture Day

Friday May 10th: Mid-Spring Classic All-Star game

Rookie / Junior and Senior divisions – 6pm at New Waterlands Fields.

Coaches / Teams will nominate players to participate in the games.

 

Week of May 27th: Make-up week

We hope Mother Nature will be kind to us for the balance of April and into May. Inevitably, games get rained out.

Please note the week of May 27th has been designated as our make-up week.

MSO will do it’s best to keep divisions playing on their “play” day however to get all games played within this limited

time frame and field space MSO may have to schedule games on a “non-play” date.

T-ball “play” days — Wednesday and Saturday

Rookie “play” days — Thursday and Saturday

Junior “play” days — Tuesday and Friday

Senior “play” days — Tuesday and Friday

 

Starting Saturday June 1st:

Tentative date(s) for playoffs ALL Rookie / Junior and Senior Divisions

MSO will do its best to keep divisions playing on their “play” day however to get all games / brackets of the playoffs

completed within this limited timeframe and field space MSO may have to schedule games on a “non-play” date.

Rookie “play” days — Thursday and Saturday

Junior “play” days — Tuesday and Friday

Senior “play” days — Tuesday and Friday

 

June 7th: Tentative championship night Rookie / Junior and Senior Divisions

Starting at 6pm New Waterlands Fields (make up day June 8th)

 

Early June: Tball metal games

Final game for Tball players where metals are awarded.
